Two One-Act Plays

In Contractions, Emma might be in a relationship, the trouble is, it is with a work colleague and her HR manager believes she may therefore be in breach of her contract. Described as an inky black comedy it is very funny, occasionally dark and possibly quite an accurate depiction of modern workplace culture.

Our second play, Elegy for a Lady might be a window into the soul of an adulterer or that of a tortured man seeking redemption. Sharing details of an affair with the owner of boutique gift shop we are left with a few doubts and plenty to discuss. A short play that punches above its weight and said to be partly motivated by Miller’s betrothal to Marilyn Monroe! We will stage these plays with table seating to allow for an end of year theatre get together.
